Safety is the #1 priority of Jetbllue—to make sure that you, other travelers and crewmembers feel confident and comfortable throughout the journey—your travel experience will be a bit different than the last time you flew.
All adult travelers & kids 2 years of age and older must wear a face covering over the nose and mouth both at the airport and on board. Masks with vents or exhalation valves are not permitted. Plastic face shields may be worn in addition to a face covering but not in place of one.
To limit touchpoints at the airport, the airlines are encouraging you to check-in, manage your trip and access a mobile boarding pass that you can scan yourself with the free JetBlue app. Once you check in online or with the app, you can also print out bag tags at the airport without touching the kiosk at most airports. To minimize contact in the aisle, customers will now board flights from back to front boarding according to your seat and row number (instead of the boarding group printed on your boarding pass). To provide the best inflight experience possible in the safest way possible, they have streamlined their onboard service to minimize physical interactions and maximize safety.
You can use your personal device as a remote for seatback screens on select aircraft. During check-in, you'll be required to complete a JetBlue coronavirus health declaration acknowledging that you have not tested positive, experienced symptoms (including a fever) or been in contact who anyone who has tested positive.
Happy flying!
