Stories of a life lived, loved, survived, laughed through, and still being written.
Stories of a life lived, loved, traveled, survived, laughed through, and still being written.
I've lived a lot of life.
Some of it was planned. Some of it absolutely was not. π
There have been beautiful chapters, painful ones, unexpected plot twists, second chances, adventures, heartbreak, laughter, love, loss, starting over, and finding myself again.
Chronicles from Michelle is where I'm putting some of those stories down on paper.
These aren't meant to be a perfectly chronological memoir. They're pieces of a life — stories about the people, places, experiences and moments that helped shape me.
And yes, travel stories belong here, too.
Some journeys take you across an ocean. Others take you back to your childhood, through a difficult chapter, into a new adventure, or somewhere you never expected to find yourself.
You'll find:
π Travel Chronicles
The places I've been, the people I've met, the adventures I've had, and the moments that stayed with me long after I came home.
π―π² Jamaica — One Love
An ongoing love story with an island, its people, its music, its culture and the part of myself I found there.
❤️ Life & Love
Family, friendships, relationships, loss, resilience, starting over and the lessons life keeps handing me.
π± Home, Garden & Sustainable Living
From my Kauai Green Tiny Home to growing peppers, planting marigolds, working with the land and, yes, The Berm — because apparently I needed a drainage project to become a character in my own story. π
πΆ Music & Memories
The songs, musicians and memories that became part of my soundtrack.
π§ Growing Up
Childhood, family, the farm, the people who shaped me and the experiences that made me who I am.
Some stories will make you laugh.
Some may make you cry.
Some may make you shake your head and say, “Michelle… seriously?” π
And some may remind you of a chapter in your own life.
This collection is a work in progress because my life is still happening.
So I'll keep adding the stories as they come.
Welcome to the Chronicles.
There's still a lot of story left to tell. ❤️
